Disappointing as we were promissed to discover a Bib Gourmand menu on the occasion of my daughter’s 18th anniversary and instead the regular Oriole Lunch Menu Express was served with a couple of exceptions from the regular menu after discussions.

Read full reviewThis Sunday I had lunch with my son, sister and two friends at Oriole. To be honest - my expectations were not met. I believe the menu lacked a clear vision and quality. It consisted of a tasty mushroom soup, scallops with hollandaise sauce, raw ham and sweet onions, a choice between redfish/perch on wild rice with a spicy red (tomato) sauce or pork chops with beans. Desert was the highlight - rice pudding with a bowl of ice cream and a chocolate. The food was not warm enough, the presentation was mediocre (looked piled up on the plate), the service was awkward. And although the setting was great - it's a very nice restaurant - I felt very underwelhmed by the whole experience.
