Discover our brand-new location at Markt 53 in the heart of Nootdorp, where Chef/Owner Tom passionately continues the culinary tradition of Calva. The name ‘Calva’ is derived from the Latin word for ‘nut’—a nod to Nootdorp and our promise of authenticity and exclusivity.

On the day of your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation call to review the details. You can share any dietary preferences, allergies, or special requests in advance. When the evening arrives, let yourself be completely pampered with a six-course menu as the foundation of your dining experience. You can elevate your evening further with Calva’s signature dish or an exquisite selection from the cheese trolley. Exceptional wines and non-alcoholic beverages are another highlight of the restaurant. If you’re visiting us by bike, you can park it in front of the bike repair shop or Anytime Fitness at the beginning of the square. If you're using public transport, tram 15 and bus 60 stop right in front of the market square.
For those arriving by car, there are free parking options within walking distance. The closest options include Jan Janssen sports hall (behind the apartment buildings, but note: no blue zone), Sportparkweg near the chef’s former football club RKDEO, and, if needed, Meidoornlaan.
Important: Please do not use the parking garage at De Parade, as it closes at 9:30 PM, and we hope to welcome you for a longer stay!

Sociaal heerlijk dus, en verder? Het antwoord kan kort maar krachtig zijn: een waar feest! Prachtige amuses. Ik haal er eentje naar voren, omdat die ons verraste: iets met eiersalade. Nu menen wij dat we geregeld de lekkerste eiersalade uit Den Haag kopen bij Ammerlaan aan de Aert van der Goesstraat (en die is echt heel goed), maar dit: wat er mee gedaan is weten we niet, maar het hapje was betoverend. Net als trouwens de andere amuses. Waarna onder andere een heerlijke bisque - en voor mijn partner een aspergesoepje waar ze stil van werd. Iets bijzonder met giropels, een mooi stukje zeebaars en rundvlees uit de Green Egg in een wijnsaus om te zoenen. Het dessert, met diverse variaties gebaseerd op aardbei, mag ook niet ongenoemd blijven.
Lang verhaal kort: een heerlijk welkom - waar we graag een vervolg aan geven!
Mooi gelegen in het oude centrum van Nootdorp. Alles klopt, inrichting, ontvangst, service en zicht in de keuken. Fijne ambiance. Eten is voortreffelijk en de wijnen zijn heel goed gekozen. We kijken al uit naar de volgende keer.
