In the middle of the Hofstad, steps away from the Binnenhof and Noordeinde Palace, you will find the fantastic restaurant Calla's *. Quality and taste are of paramount importance here.
At the urban restaurant Calla's *, great value is placed on regional products. Many of the fresh vegetables and herbs come from the own vegetable garden 'Laantje Voorham'. The vegetable garden is hidden in the greenery of Wassenaar and has a special cultivation plan to provide the various crops for the kitchen of Callas * during the different seasons.

Prima prijs-kwaliteit. Dit sterren restaurant laat zich niet kennen tijdens de restaurant week. Een uitstekende lunch, en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
Het eten was super, mooi uitgebalanceerd, prachtig van smaak en de opmaak stuk voor stuk plaatjes.
Ik ben zwanger en in plaats van vlees kreeg ik een heel mooi stukje tong met schaaldieren/ safraan jus en artisjokkenpuree. Heel goed dat ook hier veel aandacht aan werd besteed dat heb ik wel eens anders mee gemaakt.
Met 4 personen bij Callla's gegeten. Ivm reputatie van een Michelin ster, hoge verwachtingen. Deze zijn tijdens ons eten niet geheel waargemaakt helaas.

Een zeer prettig en aangename sfeer, sublieme inrichting en decor. Vriendelijke jonge service, maar niet erg kundig of professioneel. Zeer korte toelichting bij de gerechten met eigenlijk alleen basis-informatie. Passie om over de gerechten te vertellen ontbrak een beetje.
Toelichting bij ons vegetarische gerecht: ''Risotto met vleesjus'' kwam opmerkelijk over.
Kwaliteit van de gerechten was prima, maar niet uitstekend. Alleen het dessert sprong er goed en creatief uit.
Hoewel het een heerlijke avond was, en we een erg goede tafel hadden, vonden we het alle 4 tegenvallen en hebben we vaker beter gegeten bij restaurants zonder ster! Helaas!
