Two kitchens, one evening, one experience

A unique culinary encounter between two proud JRE members: Restaurant, Hotel & Spa Savarin and Landgoed Hotel & Restaurant Carelshaven.
During this exclusive evening, two signatures, two styles, and one shared passion for gastronomy merge in a one-off 6-course dinner. An interplay in which character, refinement, and craftsmanship reinforce each other, and the table forms the stage for a special culinary dialogue.
The dinner consists of 6 courses. Normally €100, at Dinestar €80 per person.
You will be welcomed with two amuse-bouches – one from each restaurant – as an initial introduction to both kitchens.
Subsequently, Chef Arturo Dalhuisen (Carelshaven) and Chef Richard de Vries (Savarin) will each present three courses, in which their own style and signature are expressed.
The evening concludes in style with coffee and petit fours.
An accompanying wine pairing? Sommeliers Ynte Bos (Carelshaven) and Eline van Zuiden (Savarin) jointly curate a harmonious wine pairing, carefully tailored to each course and the character of both cuisines.

Wij hebben een gezellige avond gehad met onze vrienden. Goed ontvangen, naar tafel begeleid. Een aperatief besteld, allemaal prima. Toen wat vragen gesteld over het menu. Een glas wijn besteld. Een glas wijn besteld. Na het hoofdgerecht eigenlijk weinig tot geen communicatie. Wilt u nog wat drinken? Is alles naar wens? Ik denk dat wij nog wel een tweede glas hadden willen drinken. Maar achteraf waren wij toch blij dat het ons niet gevraagd was, om eerlijk te zeggen vonden wij de prijs van een glas wijn te duur, 7,50 euro.
En 6 euro voor een 0,75 ltr. water. Normaal gesproken vragen wij leidingwater, wij weten niet of zij dat serveren.
Wat wij ook jammer vonden was dat wij geen keuzemenu hadden.
Dit klinkt misschien niet zo leuk allemaal, maar wij hebben echt genoten van de ambiance en de mensen waren vriendelijk.
