Restaurant DenC in Amsterdam is located near the cozy Rembrandtplein and several theatres. Due to its central location near several theatres (Carré, Kleine Komedie), Restaurant DenC is extremely suitable for a quick dinner prior to a theatre visit.
An evening out in which the senses are stimulated by excellent cuisine, appropriate wine advice, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Service is of paramount importance.
The menu is small, making it easy to make choices. This means that the freshness of the products can also be guaranteed. In this way, French-Mediterranean dishes can be prepared perfectly.
The restaurant has a private dining area for 10 people. Perfect for a business dinner but also for a private dinner where a speech may be given.

I had what was described as baby sole cooked in butter. I asked for lemons as I had pictured a filet on a plate of melted butter sauce. What I got was a selection of small crunchy curled rolls of thin, perfectly cook little fish filets with a buttery flavor accompanied by wonderful bits of veg. The food was delightful and delicious.
The staff was friendly and attentive, always asking if we had, in fact, enjoyed what we had.
Dessert was a lovely combination of chocolate mousse, a light fruit sorbet and fresh fruit.
The portions were perfect for me, but I am not a volume (all you can eat type of) diner.
This is a place to go with with interesting company, because it has no view, but the restaurant is cosy, comfortable and very pleasant.
I will certainly be back.
heerlijk gegeten met lekkere wijnen in een gezellige omgeving. De bediening was vriendelijk, we misten alleen een beetje enthousiasme o.m. tijdens keuze van wijn/kaasplankje (soorten werden niet benoemd)
We komen er zeker terug.
