Restaurant DenC in Amsterdam is located near the cozy Rembrandtplein and several theatres. Due to its central location near several theatres (Carré, Kleine Komedie), Restaurant DenC is extremely suitable for a quick dinner prior to a theatre visit.
An evening out in which the senses are stimulated by excellent cuisine, appropriate wine advice, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Service is of paramount importance.
The menu is small, making it easy to make choices. This means that the freshness of the products can also be guaranteed. In this way, French-Mediterranean dishes can be prepared perfectly.

Heerlijk eten, mooie porties, super wijnen. Zeer gevarieerd. Mooi gepresenteerd. Goede timing. Ontzettend vriendelijke ontvangst en geweldige gastvrouw. Interieur en meeste servies beetje saai a la simpele restaurant stijl terwijl het eten en service een volledige contrast ervan is. Verandering van interieur en deel servies zou aanbevolen zijn.
We gingen mijn driekwart eeuw vieren met een dinertje bij DenC, mijn kinderen, kleinzoon en ik. Tegen het eind schoof ook mijn kleindochter aan om mee te genieten van het toetje. En genoten hebben we zeker. Natuurlijk in de eerste plaats van het samen zijn, maar vooral ook van de heerlijke smaken van de prachtige gerechten die onze gastvrouwen ons aanreikten. Bij iedere gang kregen we heldere uitleg wat er op ons bord lag. Alle gerechten waren als kunstwerken gedrapeerd op zorgvuldig gekozen keramiek. En zodra een hapje de tong raakte, kwam er telkens een verrukkelijke smaak vrij. Van de amuses totenmet de friandises bij de koffie: heerlijk en zo mooi gepresenteerd. Mooie vissen, vleesjes, wild, groenten, sausen, zoet en zuur. En alles vergezeld door lekker water en wijn.

Read full reviewI originally booked through the Dining with the Stars website for the chance to eat here during their promotion period, which is 60 EUR per person for a 5-course dinner.
Although the food is excellent, the wine selection was fabulous and the service was good, we were approached halfway through the meal because they had accidentally started serving us the 6-course dinner and wanted to know if we were okay with going along with it. We didn't find out until the end that the 6-course dinner was 110 per person, so I had to pay almost double at the end of the night for one extra accidental course.
If you come here, I would suggest confirming and reminding them of your original booking throughout your visit. I'm honestly very upset at how much more I've had to pay - I would have been more than satisfied with just 5 courses.
