Restaurant DenC in Amsterdam is located near the cozy Rembrandtplein and several theatres. Due to its central location near several theatres (Carré, Kleine Komedie), Restaurant DenC is extremely suitable for a quick dinner prior to a theatre visit.
An evening out in which the senses are stimulated by excellent cuisine, appropriate wine advice, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Service is of paramount importance.
The menu is small, making it easy to make choices. This means that the freshness of the products can also be guaranteed. In this way, French-Mediterranean dishes can be prepared perfectly.
The restaurant has a private dining area for 10 people. Perfect for a business dinner but also for a private dinner where a speech may be given.

I first visited Antoine's in 2008 and liked it so much I went back the following night.
Over the course of several months I went back when i could with friends and guests and they also went back with their friends and guests. In short, its good and people like to take other people there, which I guess means that they thought it was good too.
Clean and tidy looking place with enough room for each table. The dishes well cooked and thought out and nicely presented, with some nice wine recommendations. Pleasant, attentive service. On the minus side, despite the front windows open, the place smelled of fish. Also, when given the menu, we received a lenghthy ...

Also, when given the menu, we received a lenghthy introduction to a number of dishes that were not stated on the menu, without giving any price indication no problem for some, but enough to stop others.
All in all, I did enjoy the experience and until accepting a very sweet PX sherry for my chocolate dessert found no fault with any of the food/wine I had.
