Restaurant The Riverside is located on a historic site in Maarssen. In 2021, the restaurant has undergone a complete metamorphosis. For example, it has been given a contemporary modern design where you can enjoy yourself in a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen, led by chef Tom Vermeulen, has also been given a metamorphosis. The menu changes four times a year and is all about surprise. Perfectly composed flavor explosions where every bite should be a surprise. In short, a wonderful place for a nice lunch or dinner.

The Riverside is een absolute aanrader! De gastheer is er één van de oude stempel, met echte aandacht voor zijn gasten. De dames in de bediening zijn uiterst attent, scherp en hebben precies door wat goed gastheerschap betekent. Het eten is geweldig, de locatie is top en als elegante afsluiting kun je er ook nog gratis parkeren. Kortom, een plek waar alles klopt!
We arrived on a Thursday evening during the fall holidays, so the restaurant was rather quiet, only about 5 tables occupied. Staff was very friendly and the owner was also very welcoming. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous.
