Daarna diverse amuses die op originele wijze werden gepresenteerd. In de vier gangen kwam die creativiteit telkens terug. Het voorgerecht bestond uit zeebaars met knapperige verse dragon, rettich en gember, het tussengerecht was coquille, met sepia, bloemkool en hazelnoot in een bouillon van tonijn, het hoofdgerecht was lamsfilet, asperge, polenta en jeneverbes. Na een amuse met karnemelk en twee bereidingen van rabarber, kwam het nagerecht met aardbei, vanille, basilicum en witte chocolade. Bij al deze gerechten was aandacht besteed tot aan het kleinste detail, in de opmaak, de garing en de smaak.
Wij gaan nog vaker terugkomen bij Karels!

U gaf uit uzelf aan dat ons plekje prachtig is en het eten heerlijk was, maar geeft een 7. Dit geeft dus ruimte voor verbetering voor ons.
