Gisteravond een 6 gangen kerstdiner met wijnarrangement mogen nuttigen bij Karels Restaurant, wat een verwennerij. Iedere gang weer een prachtig opgemaakt bord met heerlijke gerechten en prima bijpassende wijn. Mooi servies, mooie glazen, alles perfect. Ook bediening erg prettig. Iedere gang weer een prachtig opgemaakt bord met heerlijke gerechten en prima bijpassende wijn. Mooi servies, mooie glazen, alles perfect. Ook bediening erg prettig. Goed gekleed, prima uitleg van wat er op het bord ligt, altijd opmerkzaam maar nooit opdringerig, vriendelijk, attent en vlot. Kortom zoals het hoort te zijn. Keerden dan ook weer zeer voldaan huiswaarts. We zijn Mezzo zeker niet vergeten maar met Karels Restaurant hebben ze een meer dan waardige opvolger gekregen. Een pareltje in de Achterhoek!
Op aanraden van andere culinaire kennis bezochten we voor het eerst Karels. De amuses aan het begin was al veelbelovend ‘metname de boerenkool 🥬 met worst (zie foto) gaf al hoge verwachtingen voor de rest van onze lunch Nou deze verwachtingen werden telkens weer overtroffen. Echt een absolute voor herhaling vatbaar…. Proost. Dit is echt een onontdekt pareltje van een restaurant.
