Description
In 't Ganzenest in the green Rijswijk, chef and host Erik Tas creates authentic allure and accessible quality, expanded with the space and facilities that this location has to offer. With the natural, genuine hospitality and service to make the guest feel completely at home. This restaurant loves to spoil its guest with special meals.
Erik has gained experience with several big names such as Parkheuvel in Rotterdam and Zwetheul in Schipluiden. Then he chose his own path with the opening of Bij Erik in Leidschendam and later, the opening of restaurant/hotel 't Ganzenest. Every month, he cooks fantastic meals using the ingrediënts of the season, to surprise his guests every time.

A small minus on the atmosphere was that people from the neighbour tables were smoking. The group from one table stoot up and went around the knee high hedge. This was really a nice gesture, but it was right next to their table so unfortunately it did not help much. I would wish for the waiters to take care of such ...

Unfortunately there was no real space to lock the bikes to.
The food was excellent and every course looked like an artwork, the combination of different flavours was exquisite and very fitting, my complements to the kitchen. The waiters were friendly and professional.
Heerlijk genoten van alle 8 gerechten & konden de verleiding niet weerstaan om n9g friandises bij de koffie te bestellen (al zaten we helemaal vol). Ook fijn dat ze met een lekker alternatief kwamen voor een van de desserts ivm een allergie (niet anders gewend/verwacht hoor). Komen sowieso in weer een keer terug!
Wat een geweldig restaurant, heerlijk gegeten en wat een vriendelijk personeel, echt een aanrader
