We werden welkom geheten door de maître Denzel, die ons ook de hele avond zou bedienen. Wat 'n warm welkom, we voelden ons direct thuis bij Denzel. Daarna werden we getrakteerd op diverse heerlijk amuses en begeleid door heerlijk zuurdesembrood met pitjes en bietenbrood met geitenkaas. We hadden het vijf gangen menu gereserveerd. Elk gerecht heerlijk op smaak gebracht en een prachtige compositie op ons bord.
Duidelijk werk van een zeer creative chef, waarbij spanning in het gerecht en balans de belangrijkste "drivers" waren. Alles uiteraard begeleid door prachtige bijpassende wijnen en moktails. Kortom een super verzorgde avond vol genot, vriendschap en warmte. Met als afsluiter een rondleiding door het prachtige historische gebouw. Op de 1e etage een ruime klassieke kamer, te boeken voor intieme gezelschappen of zakelijke bijeenkomsten. Denzel lichtte toe dat hij dit als service aanbood, zonder zaalhuur in rekening te brengen. Een prachtige tip voor "kleine" partijen tot ongeveer 20 m/v.
Denzel op het moment van dit schrijven, de nieuwe eigenaar van "de Provenier", heel veel succes met het verder uitbouwen van het succes van dit TOP restaurant. We komen zeer zeker bij jou terug. Warme groet, Lindi, Mariska en Henk
Wat een warm bad waarin we werden ontvangen, de gastheer was dat van begin tot einde. Fantastische smakelijke gerechtjes gegeten. En een extra compliment voor het prachtige servies waarop de gerechten werden gepresenteerd!
