Uitstekende service met lekkere en originele gerechten. De vijf sterren voor het eten zijn gebaseerd op wat je mag/kan verwachten voor de prijs die je betaalt. Deze prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is dus bij Umami zeker in orde. De sfeer is prima maar zou iets warmer mogen. De attente en vriendelijke bediening compenseert hier gelukkig ruimschoots voor.
Heerlijk eten, veel kleine gerechten, mooi opgemaakt en fijne bediening die op 1 na mondmasker draagt. Dat is nog de enige tip: iedereen in de bediening zou op dit moment een mondkapje moeten dragen. Verder echt genoten van een fijne avond uit eten.
Dishes are ambitious but a little bit "overdone" - like throwing popcorn on several dishes without any justification - just because popcorn is popular in the restaurant world right now. Well-cooked dishes and food is really plentiful. A dinner with six different dishes is really two too many. Spare some room for dessert instead. Good selection of wines by the glass.
