Heerlijke lunch. Oriole is een fijne plek om even tot rust te komen in de hectiek van het centrum van Amsterdam. Ruim aanbod, voor elk wat wils met heerlijke wijnen.
Menu gekozen en erg genoten van het eten. Wijn keuze was ook top. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar
Vriendelijke bediening en goed eten. Het voorgerecht: sprot, stond me een beetje tegen. Ik had dit nog niet eerder gegeten en wist niet wat me te wachten stond. Nou het was een bord vol met gefrituurde dode visjes. Ik was er vanuit gegaan dat het een wat subtieler gerecht zou zijn: een beetje vis met lekkere andere ...

Nou het was een bord vol met gefrituurde dode visjes. Ik was er vanuit gegaan dat het een wat subtieler gerecht zou zijn: een beetje vis met lekkere andere dingetjes erbij. Maar neen hoor: alleen maar heel veel visjes. Wel redelijk lekker, daar niet van, maar minder visjes en ook iets anders erbij had ik meer gewaardeerd.
Er werd nogal weinig wijn in ons glas geschonken, terwijl de prijs behoorlijk is. Nadat mijn disgenoot hierover iets had gezegd werd het aangevuld. Degene die ons bediende ging hier goed mee om, compliment!
