Description
Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine is situated on the spaarne in Haarlem at a beautiful location. The restaurant is located in a building full of character and attractively decorated. The restaurant is characterised by its accessible environment and the excellent price-quality ratio and is just like ratatouille a mix of French cuisine.
Michelin called Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine an example for the new generation of chefs and restaurant at the award ceremony of their first star: less expensive, less rigid, and more accessible. All the dishes are prepared to perfection with surprising taste palettes.
Chef Joshua Jaring likes to surprise you with colours and shapes and pays a lot of attention to the preparation of the plates. This time and again creates curiosity and a wow effect for the guest, making classic flavours very interesting! Jozue combines home-grown products with international flavours.
There is also a choice of more than 460 sublime wines from the enormously extensive wine list. Come and enjoy a delicious lunch or an amazing dinner and be taken into the culinary world of the chef.
The restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in 2014. They received 16 Gault&Millau points.

Tijdens restaurantweek ben ik samen met een vriendin gaan eten bij Ratatouille. Wat een leuk restaurant, erg sfeervol ingericht. Geweldige service en het eten fantastisch. Een open keuken in het midden van het restaurant zorgt voor bedrijvigheid en entertainment. Wij kunnen dit restaurant zeker aanraden!
N.a.v. een bezoekje van een open dag van de drukkerij van het Haarlemsdagblad waar diverse keukens hun producten presenteerden kwamen wij in aanraking met een heer hapje van de keuken van Ratatouille. Prachtige omgeving, goede bediening en een verrukkelijk menu zorgde voor een voldaan gevoel. Waarom dan maar 3 sterren voor de sfeer nou dat kwam doordat we in de hoek bij de ingang achter het gordijn zaten en dat is nou niet het mooiste plekje om te zitten ivm kou bij op en dicht doen van de toegangsdeur. Voor de rest komen we hier zeker nog eens terug alleen dan wel aan een andere tafel.
We hebben een 4 gangen menu in het kader van de restaurantweek. Ontvangst en bediening was hartelijk en vriendelijk. Het eten was een lust voor het oog, de wijnen waren bijzonder en lekker. Kortom voor herhaling vatbaar.
