Description
Codium believes that genuine hospitality should be at the core of their service, a reflection of their unique personality. It is all about the total picture, where both the quality of the dishes and the atmosphere of the restaurant are central. The whole team works together to realise this vision. For example, the chefs serve the dishes themselves, adding to the personalised experience of each guest. Codium has been awarded a Michelin star, 16.5 points from Gault&Millau, and Wouter Kik was named ‘Young Chef of the Year’ by Gault&Millau.
The restaurant offers a modern style of cooking with a fresh mix of Zeeland flavours and international influences. Wouter Kik's cuisine is refined and light, with a balance of fresh acids, vibrant colours, and depth. Jean Luc, the sommelier, carefully selects authentic and elegant wines to complement the dishes. This summer, Codium is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
