The former Broederenklooster is one of Zutphen's most ancient and beautiful buildings, a place where you can dream away in its rich history dating back to the year 1200. Now 800 years later, the Boutique Hotel and Restaurant Broederenklooster is located in the striking building. Enjoy a peaceful stay in one of the 15 guest rooms, located in the former 13th-century dormitory, where contemporary comfort merges with historical charm. Be enchanted by the beauty of Zutphen as you look around. With a French-Classical oriented base, your taste buds will be pampered with exciting dishes by chef Niels who can prepare entire palettes of flavours for his guests. Highly recommended is the sophisticated wine list and delicious home-brewed beers!

Het restaurant biedt ontzettend veel keus in wijnen en gelukkig was onze gastheer zeer goed op de hoogte en uitermate enthousiast dat hij deze kennis graag met ons deelde en voorzag van superwijnen!
Kortom een topmiddag op het terras met een super zonnetje, goed gezelschap en heerlijk eten en drinken!
Een 3 gangen lunch gehad, het eten was op de schol (zat nog een taai vel aan) prima, leuke en lekkere amuses.
Kaasplankje á €22,50 best wel prijzig, wel 6 stukjes kaas.
Drank is ontzettend duur, open fles wijn €11 per glas!!
Prachtig restaurant, indrukwekkend zowel van buiten als van binnen. Sfeervol, gastvrije ontvangst. Vriendelijke bediening met gepast gevoel voor humor. Heerlijke gerechtjes, spannende smaakcombinaties. Probeer zeker de oester.Alleen al om de wijze waarop deze geserveerd wordt. ( lukt me helaas niet om een foto bij te voegen)
