The former Broederenklooster is one of Zutphen's most ancient and beautiful buildings, a place where you can dream away in its rich history dating back to the year 1200. Now 800 years later, the Boutique Hotel and Restaurant Broederenklooster is located in the striking building. Enjoy a peaceful stay in one of the 15 guest rooms, located in the former 13th-century dormitory, where contemporary comfort merges with historical charm. Be enchanted by the beauty of Zutphen as you look around. With a French-Classical oriented base, your taste buds will be pampered with exciting dishes by chef Niels who can prepare entire palettes of flavours for his guests. Een feestje om hier te lunchen. Alle gerechten waren zeer smaakvol. Amuses als kleine kunstwerkjes. Relaxte sfeer. Zeker een aanrader!
We aten het 6-gangenmenu, vooraf gegaan door kleine hapjes als aperitief. Erg lekker! We hadden er een fles mooie witte wijn erbij, wel erg prijzig. Gezellige ongedwongen sfeer in het restaurant.
Smakelijk gegeten, prettige bediening en informele sfeer. Dissonant is een waterarrangement voor 1 glas water die niet werd bijgeschonken, een rip off! Een reden om bij een volgende gelegenheid mee te nemen in beslissing. Prijzen in wijnkaart zijn drastisch aangepast, lijkt een aardig verdienmodel!
