Titus in het pittoreske dorp Megen is daar ook weer zo'n voorbeeld van. Een echte aanrader. Een oude boerenschuur omgebouwd naar een restaurant waar een redelijk jonge brigade zijn best doet om je een geweldige avond te bezorgen. Daar zijn ze heel goed in geslaagd, met mooie gerechten die qua smaken (zoet, zuur, zout, umami) prachtig in balans zijn een een klapstuk van een dessert: de Megense kei. Een mooi stukje patisserie vakwerk, hoewel de kazen van mijn partner ook prima waren. Nieuwsgierig geworden? Ik zou zeggen op naar Megen om het zelf te proeven en ga dan een uurtje eerder om het dorp zelf nog even te bekijken een wandeling op de Maasdijk te maken.
