Description
Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine is situated on the spaarne in Haarlem at a beautiful location. The restaurant is located in a building full of character and attractively decorated. The restaurant is characterised by its accessible environment and the excellent price-quality ratio and is just like ratatouille a mix of French cuisine.
Michelin called Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine an example for the new generation of chefs and restaurant at the award ceremony of their first star: less expensive, less rigid, and more accessible. All the dishes are prepared to perfection with surprising taste palettes.
Chef Joshua Jaring likes to surprise you with colours and shapes and pays a lot of attention to the preparation of the plates. This time and again creates curiosity and a wow effect for the guest, making classic flavours very interesting! Jozue combines home-grown products with international flavours.
There is also a choice of more than 460 sublime wines from the enormously extensive wine list. Come and enjoy a delicious lunch or an amazing dinner and be taken into the culinary world of the chef.

Het was een heerlijke avond met goede en soms bijzondere gerechten zoals de tonijn ganzenlever en de coquille. Ook de amuses waren speciaal. Vriendelijk en kundig personeel. Op mijn vraag of we een nagerecht konden krijgen dat wat frisser was dan wat er op het menu stond werden we verrast met een heerlijk toetje met ijs. Zeker nog een keer een bezoek waard.
We hebben fantastisch gedineerd bij Ratatouille. We hadden het vijf gangen verrassingsmenu en werden ook daadwerkelijk positief verrast door de mooie combinaties en kwaliteit. De porties waren wat groter dan je zou verwachten voor een restaurant van deze kwaliteit, dus pas op met het brood!

Dan op het negatieve. Wij hadden een wijnarrangement bij het menu. De kwaliteit van de wijn bleef echter ver achter bij de kwaliteit van het eten. Iets meer investeren in de wijn zou de avond nog veel mooier hebben gemaakt. Volgende keer laten wij het in ieder geval niet aan de sommelier over....
