Description
Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine is situated on the spaarne in Haarlem at a beautiful location. The restaurant is located in a building full of character and attractively decorated. The restaurant is characterised by its accessible environment and the excellent price-quality ratio and is just like ratatouille a mix of French cuisine.
Michelin called Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine an example for the new generation of chefs and restaurant at the award ceremony of their first star: less expensive, less rigid, and more accessible. All the dishes are prepared to perfection with surprising taste palettes.
Chef Joshua Jaring likes to surprise you with colours and shapes and pays a lot of attention to the preparation of the plates. This time and again creates curiosity and a wow effect for the guest, making classic flavours very interesting! Jozue combines home-grown products with international flavours.
There is also a choice of more than 460 sublime wines from the enormously extensive wine list. Come and enjoy a delicious lunch or an amazing dinner and be taken into the culinary world of the chef.
The restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in 2014. They received 16 Gault&Millau points.

We aten het 5 gangen verrassings menu.De op lage temperatuur gegaarde snoekbaar, was het beste gerecht van de avond. De bediening was zeer attend. Een hele geslaagde avond. We komen graag nog eens.
Mooie open keuken met heerlijke verrassende gerechten: nog nooit eerder rog gegeten maar was super. De gerechten en wijnen waren uitstekend in balans en waren er maar meer sterrenrestaurants zoals Ratatouille: modern, toegankelijk, hoge kwaliteit en voor een betaalbare prijs. Wij gaan hier zeker vaak terugkomen.
Druk restaurant, een deel van de keuken is centraal geplaatst en 'open', mede daardoor veel omgevingsgeluid. Bediening was over het algemeen goed en professioneel, een enkele medewerker was slecht te verstaan. Minpunt was dat we erg lang op de derde gang moesten wachten, kennelijk waren we even aan de aandacht ontsnapt. Dat verwacht je niet bij een ster-restaurant. Na een seintje aan de bediening werd dit snel en verder prima opgelost. Zeker waard om terug te komen.
