Two brothers, one mission
In the historic Rooi Harten mission house, where others once followed their calling, Paul and Ralph Kappé are now bringing their own mission to life: creating a place where people can truly connect. As in the old days. Offline. With attention. Full of stories. And without distractions.

That dedication and attention did not go unnoticed: in 2019, Restaurant Monarh was awarded one Michelin star, the first ever in Tilburg.

Ik heb lekker gegeten en de gerechten waren mooi en fijn opgemaakt. Uiteindelijk voor 6 gangen gegaan, gestart met een bubbel en geëindigd met koffie. Kwaliteit van t eten was goed, soms iet wat zout wat ik ook heb aangegeven. Wijn erg stevig aan de prijs Bediening maakte NIET het verschil wat je wel mag verwachten ...

Wijn erg stevig aan de prijs Bediening maakte NIET het verschil wat je wel mag verwachten van een sterrenrestaurant, erg stijf, formeel en standaard verhaaltjes. In vergelijking met andere sterrenrestaurants waar ik heb gegeten, springt deze er niet echt uit mede vanwege prijs/prestatie en vooral bediening. Tot slot, het was mijn verjaardag en had dat van tevoren aangegeven. Ze zouden er iets aan doen; een kaartje op tafel was het enige gebaar.
