The atmosphere was the worst I have experienced in an Indian restaurant. The decoration was very poor. The floor was plain concrete and there were only large photos on the walls – nothing else. It did not feel warm or welcoming.
There was also no proper ventilation. Even 40 minutes after leaving the restaurant, our clothes still smelled strongly of spices.
The portions were very small. I have never experienced such small portions in an Indian restaurant before.
We ordered a set menu, but we were not allowed to choose anything except the starter (chicken or lamb). There was no flexibility at all.
The staff were kind and the service was very fast, which was the only positive part of the experience.
