In the Fryske village of Boornbergum near Drachten, Het Spijshuys is housed in a characteristic and striking building. The former village pub has been transformed into a gastronomic restaurant where cooking is done with pure craftsmanship. Zeker aan te bevelen!
Restaurant was gezellig, eten was een arrangement, super gaaf en heerlijk, geen keuze stress de kok bepaald, vooraf aan tafel werd gevraagd of je iets niet luste. Bediening was netjes en beleefd.
Mooie avond gehad in ‘t Spijshuys. Hele leuke meiden in de bediening, die overal goed uitleg over konden geven en zeer behulpzaam waren! De amuses en de 2 voorgerechten waren heerlijk. Het hoofdgerecht vonden wij iets minder. Dit was een groot stuk buikspek met niet heel veel eigen smaak. Mede daardoor te machtig. Nog een lekker dessert toe gehad met ijs en brownies.
