Description
On the edge of Zilverpark, in the heart of Lelystad, lies Restaurant Silver. Since 2017, the restaurant has been a place where attention, craftsmanship, and contemporary gastronomy converge.
For us, gastronomy revolves around attention: to the product, the craft, and the moment. We believe that true refinement arises from tranquility, when flavors are given space to unfold and guests can immerse themselves undisturbed in the experience. In a warm, intimate setting, we present dishes that speak volumes about their purity, balance, and precision.
Our cuisine is contemporary, thoughtful, and classically grounded, with respect for ingredients and technique. We cook seasonally, with great respect for the product and its provenance. Every ingredient is used to its full potential; waste is not a starting point, but a challenge to work more consciously and precisely.

As a member of Dutch Cuisine, we follow their principles: local where possible, vegetables take center stage, and sustainable meat or fish complement them, following the 80/20 principle. This creates dishes that are balanced, pure in flavor, and thoughtfully composed. Our menus are largely gluten- and lactose-free.
Every detail, from the plate to the ambiance, has been carefully selected to create harmony between taste, hospitality, and ambiance.
The bright restaurant with its open kitchen exudes tranquility and openness. Here, the experience is central: an evening where flavors can unfold freely, accompanied by carefully selected wines and genuine hospitality.

Wat een culinaire verrassing hebben wij gisteravond ontdekt in Lelystad!
Ik had gereserveerd voor 19.00 uur en vanaf het eerste moment werden we ontzettend gastvrij ontvangen. Het menu was een complete verrassing en vooraf kregen we een bijzonder aperitief geserveerd – een heerlijke start van de avond. We kozen voor het BOB wijnarrangement bij het 6-gangenmenu, en dat bleek een perfecte keuze.
Wat volgde was een ware smaaksensatie: zes schitterende gerechten plus 3 amuses, prachtig opgemaakt, kleurrijk en met verrassende smaakcombinaties die perfect in balans waren. De chef nam uitgebreid de tijd om elk gerecht toe te lichten, en ook over de zorgvuldig gekozen wijnen kregen we een mooie toelichting.
We kregen alle aandacht en werden echt in de watten gelegd. Er was ook voldoende ruimte voor een gezellig praatje met de ober/sommelier, wat de avond extra persoonlijk en ontspannen maakte.
Kortom: het was een fantastische avond en we hebben er meteen een favoriet restaurant bij! Over twee weken komen we terug voor de proeverij – we kijken er nu al naar uit!
