The food was OK, but I would not try the dessert again. The service.... so much lack of knowledge and experience! The waiters didn't even understand what Diningcity.nl was, how the actual offer works, what menu is reserved. The waiters were all very kind, but unfortunately the service was horrible. The waiters didn't even understand what Diningcity.nl was, how the actual offer works, what menu is reserved. The waiters were all very kind, but unfortunately the service was horrible. They were confused, more than one came to ask what we wanted to drink, but we waited for water and wine for loooong time. Food arrived before the drinks (which never happens), the waiters never explained what the dishes were (unless we asked). Most of them didn't know what those dishes were! We tried to ask more drinks but the waiter totally forgot.
Not our first time going to Umami, we like to give another try from time to time, to see if things improve or not. And disappointedly the service got worse. Hopefully it will be better next time
was weer geweldig. prima combinaties van gerechten met een goede " taste ".
Wij hadden een verrassingsmenu. 2 van ons eten geen vlees. In het menu zaten 2 x garnalen. Dat vind ik een misser. Mijn dochter gaf bij de eerste keer garnalen aan dat ze er niet dol op was. Hier werd goed op ingespeeld doordat ze een groentegerecht kreeg. Top.
De zalm vond ik erg basic. De witvis daarentegen weer erg lekker.
Verder vind ik kokosijs niet echt verrassend als toetje.
