Description
Restaurant DenC in Amsterdam is located near the cozy Rembrandtplein and several theatres. Due to its central location near several theatres (Carré, Kleine Komedie), Restaurant DenC is extremely suitable for a quick dinner prior to a theatre visit.
An evening out in which the senses are stimulated by excellent cuisine, appropriate wine advice, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Service is of paramount importance.
The menu is small, making it easy to make choices. This means that the freshness of the products can also be guaranteed. In this way, French-Mediterranean dishes can be prepared perfectly.
The restaurant has a private dining area for 10 people. Perfect for a business dinner but also for a private dinner where a speech may be given.

Tijdens de restaurantweek met mijn vriend hier gegeten. Dat houd een driegangendiner in voor 27,50 p.p. We kregen een warm onthaal en begonnen met het huis aperitief met appelsmaak. Vervolgens werden er twee amuses geserveerd. Beide erg speciaal en lekker.
De wijnen waren goed afgestemd op de verschillende gerecht...

Vooraf: zeebaars, paling en vistaartaar met aardappelsalade.
Hoofd: Ossenstaart. Ontzettend mals. We konden hier geen genoeg van krijgen.
Na: kon je kiezen tussen granaatappel kardemomijs of een kaasproeverij (5,50 supplement). Beide erg lekker. Alleen de desertwijn bij de kaas was wel erg zoet en paste niet bij alle kazen.
Het enige minpunt van de avond was de muziek. Een mix van massage en rustgevende deuntjes vonden wij erg saai.
Voor de rest echt een toprestaurant!
Een warm en knus restaurant en werden hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Het diner was nav een verjaardag en ze kwam mijn vriend feliciteren. Het eten en service is prima. Iedere tafel krijgt genoeg aandacht en het eten is lekker.
This restaurant has a very nice and cozy atmosphere. If you have a dinner with a small group and you want a relaxed, intimate and comfortable sphere this is the place to go. Good and friendly service. Food was delicious, we had a 3 course meal but there where many extra's like 2 amuses, super nice to have this even in the restaurant week. Very good experience!
