This was my second visit to Umami by Han Eindhoven. Compared to my first experience last year, which was pleasant, this visit was unfortunately very messy and uncomfortable.

This was my second visit to Umami by Han Eindhoven. Compared to my first experience last year, which was pleasant, this visit was unfortunately very messy and uncomfortable.
We used the Amex Platinum Dining for 2 offer and clearly explained that we only wanted the included courses first. Despite this, an extra paid course was brought without confirmation. When I raised the issue, a staff member responded in a blaming tone instead of first checking what had been communicated.
Billing had to be corrected multiple times, and even then the tea pairing was miscalculated. When pointed out, the response again felt defensive rather than apologetic.
The food was fine, but the service lacked clear communication and professionalism. For a second visit, this was quite disappointing.
