We kwamen voor een 5 gangen menu via restaurant diner bon waarbij 1 van de 2 personen een korting kreeg van 20 euro bij een diner van 2 personen voor bijna 62 euro per persoon exclusief drinken. Dus gemiddeld van 52 euro per persoon zónder drinken. De vaart zat er goed in in het uitserveren. Het leek alsof men het niet gewend was dat er 5 gangen menu's werden besteld. We hebben het tempo moeten verlagen. Later werd het ons duidelijk dat de porties erg groot zijn en dat je een 5 gangen menu bijna niet op krijgt. Achteraf gezien hadden we voor 3 gangen moeten gaan, want na 1 voorgerecht en 2 tussen gerechten hebben we het hoofdgerecht niet laten uitserveren, maar vriendelijk gevraagd voor ons in te pakken als doggy bag. Wel nog het nagerecht gehad. Dat wat betreft kwantiteit. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was te hoog ( veel vulmiddel ( koolhydraat) in de vorm van pappadum, naan. Soms wat te veel olie ( niet goed uitgelekt na frituren?). Zelf gemaakt koekje bij nagerecht werd onder een bolletje ijs gelegd: gevolg taai koekje. Ijs was wel lekker ( gemaakt van guave sap). Alle borden waren aan de koude kant voor de warme gerechten. De gerechten waren snel afgekoeld. Van mij hadden ze de prijs kunnen verlagen en de porties kunnen verkleinen en net iets meer aandacht kunnen besteden aan bvb warme borden voor warme gerechten. Conclusie: ik zou het voorzichtig nog een keertje willen proberen ( geen 5 gangen!) om te kijken of het gewoon bad luck was. Heb trouwens zelf Indiase roots, mocht dat nog interessant zijn om te weten wbt smaakbeleving...
Bestelde al regelmatig, en nu voor het eerst in het restaurant. Erg lekker, goede formaat porties. Je kon zelfs meer krijgen, was voor ons niet nodig. Ga zeker nog een keer terugkomen.
