Kathmandu heeft het erg druk, als je wilt eten, reserveer dan van tevoren! Het restaurant is erg mooi, ze serveren geweldige mango-drankjes en hun eten is zeer divers in een Indiase en Nepali-stijl.
Vergeet niet dat je ze kunt vragen om het minder pittig te maken! Maar over het algemeen is de kruidigheid heel goe...

Dit is naar mijn mening een van de beste plekken in Zaandam en een perfecte manier om Indiaas of Nepalese-eten te ervaren. Als je het ooit hebt willen proberen, raad ik je aan hierheen te gaan.

Read full reviewWe hadden keurig gereserveerd op Diningcity waar je ook aan moest geven dat je een kortingbon had met een code. Eénmaal aangekomen bij het restaurant was de reservering niet bekend, gelukkig was er na een kwartiertje wachten nog wel een tafeltje. Bij de bestelling wederom gemeld dat we een kortingbon hadden en er was enigszins verwarring bij de bediening omdat ze niet wist wat ze met die bon aan moest. Uiteindelijk na eindeloos de bon bekeken te hebben, wat ons een ongemakkelijk gevoel gaf omdat er andere tafeltjes mee konden luisteren, was het duidelijk welk menu gekozen kon worden en werd de bestelling geplaatst. Het driegangenmenu was smakelijk en qua hoeveelheid prima, echter voor de volle prijs vind ik de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding niet goed. Voor tweemaal € 43,50 is voor hetgene dat je krijgt te veel geld. Bij het afrekenen wederom verwarring en miscommunicatie omtrent de korting. De € 20,- was niet in mindering gebracht maar zou bij de pintransactie worden verrekend. Alleen kon ze dit maar slecht uitleggen. Uiteindelijk goedgekomen maar geen fijn gevoel al met al.
Het 3 gangen verrassingsmenu was fantastisch! Wat een heerlijke keuken met zoveel passie voor eten.
De gastheer serveerde met zoveel trots zijn gerechten, dat heb ik zelden gezien.
Alom een perfecte avond, tot de volgende keer!
