Description
Restaurant De Bottermarck is located in the heart of Kampen and has a terrace on the Botermarkt with large sunshades, lighting, heating, a bar and music. All the things needed for a fun time, in a cozy, romantic atmosphere. The building "De Bottermarck" dates from 1553 and has a long history.
The dishes that De Bottermarck serves are compiled with seasonal products from the region, and therefore change seasonally.
In addition to the a la carte menu, Restaurant De Bottermarck also serves menus, with a choice of fish, meat, vegetarian or a combination of these. You can have lunch and dinner, as well as a high tea here.

Ons derde bezoek aan Restaurant De Bottermarck in Kampen was, zoals voorgaande keren, weer een avond om van te genieten. Chef-kok en eigenaar Etienne van den Burg laat in elk gerecht zijn liefde voor het vak zien — verfijnd, smaakvol en tot in de perfectie bereid. De klassiek Franse keuken komt hier volledig tot haa...

Chef-kok en eigenaar Etienne van den Burg laat in elk gerecht zijn liefde voor het vak zien — verfijnd, smaakvol en tot in de perfectie bereid. De klassiek Franse keuken komt hier volledig tot haar recht: elk gerecht is een streling voor de tong en prachtig gepresenteerd.
Etienne zwaait hier inmiddels al meer dan twintig jaar de scepter en het is voelbaar dat koken zijn passie is. Tijdens ons diner vertelde hij dat hij openstaat voor een overname, maar dat hij nog steeds met volle overgave in de keuken staat. Hopelijk meldt zich iemand die zijn toewijding en liefde voor de verfijnde Franse keuken wil voortzetten.
Voor een jonge, ambitieuze kok ligt hier een prachtige uitdaging — en voor Kampen zou het een groot gemis zijn als deze culinaire parel verloren zou gaan.
Wij komen in elk geval graag weer terug zolang Etienne er nog achter het fornuis staat!
Service is friendly but not skilled. Food quality Is mediocre. Too much dressing and not well prepared.We had to ask for drinks. Location is wonderful.
