Description
Restaurant De Bottermarck is located in the heart of Kampen and has a terrace on the Botermarkt with large sunshades, lighting, heating, a bar and music. All the things needed for a fun time, in a cozy, romantic atmosphere. The building "De Bottermarck" dates from 1553 and has a long history.
The dishes that De Bottermarck serves are compiled with seasonal products from the region, and therefore change seasonally.
In addition to the a la carte menu, Restaurant De Bottermarck also serves menus, with a choice of fish, meat, vegetarian or a combination of these. You can have lunch and dinner, as well as a high tea here.

Leuk klein restaurant. Enorm gastvrij ontvangen en ook de hele avond goede service gehad.
Wij hebben wederom heerlijk gegeten. Het enige puntje van kritiek is dat er niet veel variatie inzit. Vorige keren hebben wij nagenoeg hetzelfde gegeten.
De gastheer was heel ontspannen en vriendelijk maar we voelden ons achteraf wel opgelicht toen we de rekening gepresenteerd kregen. M’n partner en ik zijn geen big spenders dus een menu van €70 is echt al extreem uitpakken voor ons en wilden het niet veel duurder maken dan dat. Vandaar dat ik echt schrok van de reke...

De broodjes met smeersels die als eerste werden geserveerd bleken achteraf bij de prijs op te zijn geteld terwijl we dachten dat dit deel uitmaakte van het 7-gangen menu, we hadden hier niet zelf om gevraagd. De 2 flessen bruiswater wel, maar deze waren duidelijk lokaal kraanwater met sodastream gemaakt en smaakte muf waar wel 2x €10 of €15 voor werd gerekend. De geserveerde fles wijn bleek achteraf €60 te hebben gekost. Ik had t gewaardeerd als de gastheer vooraf een prijsindicarie had gegeven. Vieze nasmaak van het geheel terwijl het etentje zelf verder goed was bevallen.
