In the Fryske village of Boornbergum near Drachten, Het Spijshuys is housed in a characteristic and striking building. The former village pub has been transformed into a gastronomic restaurant where cooking is done with pure craftsmanship. Dit restaurant overtrof onze verwachtingen. De snelle en attente serveersters brachten steeds weer heerlijkheden met verrassende smaken en texturen. Van schuim tot mousse en 'zalfjes' van bijv. wortel, echt heerlijk. Zeer aan te bevelen!
Supervriendelijk ontvangen door een enthousiaste jonge dame. We kregen een mooie tafel toegewezen. We kregen een 5 gangen menu met 2 amuses. Alles was even lekker en het waren prachtige schilderijtjes. Complimenten voor het jonge team, de chef en zijn brigade. Wij hebben genoten.
