Alles was van zeer hoog niveau, van het brood, de amuses tot het dessert. We vinden meestal desserts wat tegenvallen in fine dining restaurants maar ook dit was boven verwachting bij Merlot. Als ik echt iets negatiefs moest zoeken zal het het hapje zijn geweest. We kozen voor een hapje bij de cava, de oesters zijn heel goed, de salami vond ik niet zo bijzonder.
Dit restaurant heeft volgens ons een Michelin ster verdiend. Mijn smaakpapillen zijn goed getraind. Geweldig aardige bediening en de timing voor de volgende gang was perfect.
Al jaren komen we graag bij Merlot. Sinds corona is de qualiteit voortdurend aan het verbeteren, . Gisteren was absoluut t opervaring ( Gault milllau diner via restaurantweek) waarbij ze zichzelf hebben overtroffen. Echt niets dan lof
